codeHER Partnership with Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks
codeHER is excited to announce our partnership with Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks program. Community TeamWorks is the signature volunteering initiative of Goldman Sachs, enabling their employees to work in partnership with nonprofit organizations around the world to make a meaningful difference.
codeHER will launch our pilot Professional Development Series with Goldman Sachs this July. The week series will consist of a Career Training Skills Workshop, Networking and Interviewing Workshop, and Women in Finance Conference. 17 Goldman Sachs employees will help facilitate and run these programs with codeHER, utilizing their time and expertise to empower over 200 economically disadvantaged young women from around the world.
Asha: codeHER's Social-Entrepreneurship Program in India:
codeHER plans to run two programs in India this summer, in partnership with Indian nonprofits Selfie with Daughter Foundation and Sakaar Outreach. The programs will tentatively take place in the Indian capital, New Delhi, and Gurugram, Haryana, empowering over 100 young women to solve local problems using technology, be changemakers, and build their own community-based organizations. codeHER applied for the US Embassy in New Delhi's Public Diplomacy Grant to fund a 5-week program in India.
codeHER will assess public health guidelines and restrictions before making a decision to run this program virtually or in-person.
Mashal: codeHER's Social-Entrepreneurship Program in Pakistan:
codeHER is partnering with a local nonprofit in Pakistan, Vision-Building Future (VBF), to run a pilot virtual and hybrid social-entrepreneurship virtual program this summer for young Pakistani women who come from low and middle-income backgrounds. A Public Affairs grant from the US Embassy in Pakistan has been applied for to fund this program and women's empowerment initiatives for a year. The pilot program will enable young women to build their own social-impact organizations that tackle a community issue using technology.
